Shaman:

* Flametongue weapon puts a 50% healing reduction on the target for 5 seconds, refreshing with every hit.
* Toughness: each point in the talent now reduces the duration of movement-impairing effects by 10%, in addition to the previous effect of increasing armor. This means 50% reduced duration at 5/5.
* Shamanistic Rage changed; now reduces all damage taken by 30% and gives a chance to regenerate mana equal to 30% [was 15%] of your AP. Lasts 15 s [was 30 s].

i'm thnking, because i already have a rogue, and building up a se of heal gear to be resto with will be secondary for me, I will go elemental with my shaman.

I feel i need to make this decision now because of the quested items i'll be aquiring soon (lv 61 atm)

my question is this - has anyone (xal) leveled as elemental? How is this compared to enhance? I find killing easy as enhance, but would bewilling to try either

Gonna try & level Amarra from 60. Primary goal is to raise her factions so she can get the better Alchemy recipes.

What would be the best way to raise faction & which spec would be best for her? Looking for input.

Hehe I'm liking playing my shaman Milkey, seems to have much better survivability than my hunter, even though there isnt much of an escape maneuver - basically just run away and drop earthbind or the stoneclaw totem? Anything else?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but is shamanistic rage worth having? I'm learning its best to pop it early in a fight to regen some mana, is that its purpose?

Currently spec'd almost entirely enhancement for solo leveling, but thinking...

elemental / enhance

anyone have any info on the benefits of elemental over enhance.? I heard the other day that some elemental shammy do as much damage as fire mages with half the mana. I( was wondering if any of you have seen/ know of a build that works for this? I'm at a 0/46/15 build now and I love the Dps I get out of it but I know this build sucks for large mobs and pvp. Just curious as to what other possibilities are out there. Thanx in advance...

This addon is is just a little notifier for elemental shields and weapon buff. Thought someone might want to give it a look. I sure miss having LS popup on screen when it was down using flexbar.

So now that the BC is in full effect it seems as though our multi-tasking class has become just another healing class. I went for a enhanc/resto build and I find I'm getting spanked by rogues and mages quite easily. Anyone else seeing that as well or is it just my stupidy in setting up my point tree? Currently 0/37/24 any suggestions are very welcome.

- The clearcasting effect from "Elemental Focus" now triggers on all
spell critical strikes, rather than a chance on any spell hit.
- The shaman will no longer generate additional threat when "Unleashed
Rage" triggers.
- The free Lightning spell cast from "Lightning Overload" will now
cause reduced threat.
